Ode To An Assassin

           From: Une Sparo

Let not be the confusion of subtle minds
Tis distaste for mine, not but for love
May thee alter when such alliteration finds
Or, risk sway the order of Zeus above?

Venus gives rise a course of impertinent cheeks
Bearing or bending the needle hath come
Fate suffers not as it cravenly speaks
Bare witness thyne pledge for there it is from

Tis ever fixèd on Jupiter’s mark?
A patient tempest is not to be shaken
Then liken my song to a grounded Lark
Whose worth be known shall not be forsaken

And, you would be called thus be tight, taught to narrow?
Should it be writ would be writ out Le Sparo

                                                                           Châz
